The Refinery Project is a Christian faith-based nonprofit organization dedicated to restoring lives through the healing power of Jesus Christ. We serve veterans, individuals, and families through peer support, outreach initiatives, conferences, retreats, mentorship, and faith-centered community programs.

Our mission is to create environments where healing, restoration, identity, and purpose can flourish. We believe every person deserves compassion, connection, and the opportunity to grow spiritually, emotionally, and mentally.

Through collaboration, leadership, and servant-hearted ministry, we are committed to building stronger communities across Texas and beyond.

Our Story

The Refinery Project was founded through a shared passion for serving veterans, first responders, and the community through compassion, connection, and faith-centered support. What began as a small group of leaders and volunteers coming together to host healing retreats for veterans and first responders has continued to grow into a broader mission dedicated to restoration, outreach, and community impact.

Our leadership team is made up of individuals who have grown together through service, ministry, lived experiences, personal challenges, and a shared desire to help others find healing and hope. Many of us understand firsthand the realities of trauma, hardship, transition, and the importance of authentic community. Those experiences have shaped our heart for service and strengthened our commitment to walking alongside others in their own journeys.

As relationships within the community grew, so did the vision. The Refinery Project expanded beyond retreats to include conferences, workshops, outreach initiatives, healing events, peer support, and community gatherings focused on mental health wellness, trauma recovery, suicide prevention, spiritual encouragement, personal growth, and meaningful connection.

At the center of our mission is our faith in Jesus Christ and the belief that true restoration is possible. We believe every individual has value, identity, and a God-given purpose. Through compassion, community, and servant leadership, we strive to create environments where people can encounter hope, healing, encouragement, and lasting transformation.

As we continue to grow, our heart remains the same: to serve people with love, humility, integrity, and unwavering faith while helping strengthen communities across Texas and beyond.
